Partners can now automatically provision and configure high-performance cloud servers within Cumulus, SherWeb’s one-stop-shop partner portal and control panel. With this announcement, they also have the option to sell Performance Cloud either under a co-branded model to leverage SherWeb’s brand or gray-label the solution with generic branding in order to sell it as their own solution.
The company’s most eager channel partners have had access to its Performance Cloud Servers since its launch in September but via manual provisioning. The company counts 4,000+ resellers and distributors.
SherWeb’s on-demand cloud servers have also proved to be by far the fastest among market leaders. The most recent industry benchmarking data comparing SherWeb’s public cloud solution to those of Google, Amazon and Rackspace shows that SherWeb’s UnixBench score of 2178 for overall server performance continues to significantly outstrip Google’s next-best score of 1555.
